Betting on the Ranch
Private investment funds are pouring a lot of money into global agriculture according to the NYT - everything from farm land, grain silos, ethanol plants and the barges to move it all around. Nobody is going to argue that the sector is over-invested but it makes the nominal farmer in me nervous.
